Duties

As a Senior Plant Health Care (PHC) Technician, the following duties must be performed. These duties may vary in accordance with the service provided.

  • Ensure that your PHC crews perform work in a safe manner. Make sure employees are trained and certified (as needed) and have the proper personal protective equipment to perform the work safely. Conduct weekly safety meetings to discuss hazards, near misses, and other pertinent safety issues.
  • Ensure that PHC Care crews perform work of excellent quality. Let ULS work set the standard for others to follow.
  • Schedule all contract and non-contract PHC work and effectively manage the crews for maximum productivity. Strive to complete work in less than the allotted time.
  • Maintain good customer and public relations. Be a good representative of the company.
  • Maintain accurate records for payroll and job tracking systems and submit them on schedule.
  • Responsible for all activities of the crew on the job.
  • Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the company vehicle.
  • Perform work according to specifications.
  • Communicate with your supervisor. Be proactive. Communicate potential problems along with a proposed solution.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in an acceptable manner.
  • Develop technicians who contribute high quality work while working safely and productively.
  • Contribute to other projects and plans to achieve ULS objectives.

Eligibility

The following eligibility requirements must be met prior to becoming a Lawn Maintenance Account Manager:.

  • Be at least 20 years of age.
  • Have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Be physically capable of performing the required duties.
  • Possess at least an Associate Degree in Horticulture or have 5 years experience in a related field.
  • Possess a valid drivers license with no DUI/DWI convictions in the previous 5 years.
  • Have knowledge and experience necessary to correctly manage crew activities, this includes but is not limited to plant knowledge, pruning practices, familiarity with disease and pest control options.

Duties

As a Crew Team Member the following duties must be performed. These duties may vary in accordance with the service provided.

  • Perform work in a safe manner. Wear proper safety equipment for the job at hand.
  • Perform work of excellent quality.
  • Work productively. Complete work in less than the time allotted for that job whenever possible. Perform work quickly without sacrificing safety or quality.
  • Maintain good customer and public relations. Wear company supplied uniform daily. Begin work each day with a clean and well maintained uniform.
  • Contribute in the safe operation and maintenance of the company vehicle.
  • Perform work according to specifications.
  • Communicate with your supervisor.
  • Be on time each day and be available for work Monday thru Saturday.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in an acceptable manner.
  • Contribute to other projects and plans to achieve ULS objectives.

Eligibility

The following eligibility requirements must be met prior to becoming a Crew Team Member:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Be physically capable of performing the required duties.
  • While a driver’s license is not a requirement of the job, it does make you more valuable to the company and may afford you opportunities for advancement that are not possible without a license.
