THE OWNER OF UNITED LANDSCAPE SERVICES IS JIM McFARLANE. He grew up in the county of Hertfordshire, England, and has lived in the U.S. since 1991. After a few years of living in Kentucky, Jim started his landscape company and naturally blended the Old English gardening traditions he grew up admiring with a healthy slice of American charm and function.
